Butterfly (lighting) - In cinema butterfly is a methodlogy of lighting sets. When controlling light, grips use a variety of flags (black, opaque materiel), nets (one, two, or three layers of black, white, or semi translucent bobinette), and diffusion(translucent white materiels of different densities).

Black Swallowtail - The Black Swallowtail, Papilio polyxenes, is a butterfly found throughout much of North America. It is the state butterfly of Oklahoma.

Viceroy butterfly - The Viceroy butterfly (Limenitis archippus) is a North American butterfly with a range from the Northwest Territories along the eastern edges of the Cascade Range and Sierra Nevada mountains. Its wings feature an orange and black pattern which resemles the Monarch butterfly (Danaus plexippus).

Zebra Swallowtail Butterfly - The Zebra Swallowtail Butterfly (Eurytides marcellus, other authorities list the species under genera in the family including Iphiclides, Graphium and Papilio) is a swallowtail butterfly found in the eastern United States, north-east Mexico and south-east Canada. Its distinctive black and white-striped pattern is reminscient of a zebra.
